The mise en scene throughout our trailer is the location of the area of where we filmed. This is due to the fact that the location used to be used during the World wars. This adds realistic effects as the mise en scene is realistic.
The make up and clothing will also come as part of the mise en scene as it come sunder what adds tot he scene to make it more realistic. We had the army clothing which allowed for the realistic view of the army. As this is what we normally see the army in the proper clothing which then allowed for mise en scene to be accurate. The make up put on was dark, we put dark on under the eyes to try and make it look as though we have not had enough sleep and we are running out of proper nutrients as this is what it was like in poor conditions of the war. During our trailer we had a shot of blood on her hands and laying on he ground, this allows the audience to believe that we see gory parts of the film but as a 15 trailer we could not show too much.
The lighting of the trailer is mainly through the day but it is all ambient lighting, This means natural lighting. when it comes to our night shots we used a torch to act as a spotlight so we could see what is happening in the shot. When we were filming there were some days when it was raining and quite dull in colour which fits in with the mise en scene as it adds to the overall view of war as it is never bright and cheerful it is dull, as we did not have to put an effect on the filming as it was already quite dull.
